I’m Roshan Ali. I’m a writer trying to change my fraught and coercive relationship with writing. I want to answer the question ‘Why should/do/don’t I write’ and the only way I think I can answer this question is by writing.
It helps that I have thoughts and opinions on everything. If you’re interested in writing, literature, reason and rationality, science, politics, dogs, epistemology, and many other frivolous or fun topics, you’re in the right place.

This is an earnest attempt to write what I feel, to get better at writing, to explore my own ideas and theories. You will not agree with everything - what kind of writer would I be if you did? - but please know that it is not my intention to provoke anger or frustration - rather I hope to provoke critical and creative thought in both you and myself.
